UPDATE: Council Advisory Committees - YOUR INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE

The City of Fremantle seeks nominations from interested persons to become a member on one or more of the Council’s Advisory Committees.
These committees work with Elected Members, staff and community members to support Council in ensuring it is briefed comprehensively before decisions can be made.
The committees listed below each include seven community members and up to four Elected Members with the aim to provide advice to Council on strategy, policy, performance standards and other relevant matters that relate to the committee (as outlined in Objectives, Section 3 of the Instrument of Appointment and Delegation document for each committee).

•  Economic Development & Marketing Advisory Committee
•  Parks & Open Spaces Advisory Committee
•  Arts, Culture & Events Advisory Committee 
•  Heritage & Special Places Advisory Committee
•  Sports & Recreation Advisory Committee
•  Nyoongar Advisory Committee
•  Urban Development Advisory Committee

Nominations are to be made in writing and accompanied by a Nomination Form.   Please attach any information you regard as relevant to the committee that supports your nomination.
